Admission Policy - BBA

Admission Policy for OIC & Foreign Candidates in BBA (Hons.) 2026-30

This admission policy is applicable to non-Indian students appearing in JIPMAT 2026.

1. Admission Criteria for foreign candidates#:

1.1 Eligibility Criteria for Qualifying Exam:

Applicants should have passed 10+2/XII/HSC examination in arts/commerce/science stream or equivalent with 60% * or more in the year 2024, 2025 or appearing in 2026.

1.2

The applicant must have passed the class 10th examination with 60% * or more in the year 2022, 2023 or 2024.

1.3

The application of the applicants appearing in Class XII examination will be provisional until their Class XII result is published. The candidates who do not score the requisite percentage will not be considered for the application/admission process.

1.4

The intake of international students in the BBA (Hons.) Program will be limited to a maximum of 15 % of the approved batch strength.

* The percentage of marks obtained by the applicant in Class X and Class XII would be calculated based on the Board’s regulation. If there is no such regulation regarding aggregate marks from the concerned Board, then the aggregate marks of all the subjects that appear in the grade sheet should be considered for calculating the passing percentage.

2. Selection Process

2.1.

The applicants are required to appear in JIPMAT 2026.

2.2.

Only applicants, who score more than or equal to the sectional cut-off as mentioned below, will be considered for the admission process:

2.3 Final Merit List:

The criteria for preparing the merit list will be based on the JIPMAT Score or SAT exam Score only (whichever applicable).

3. Offer Acceptance Process and Withdrawal

  • Detailed procedure for Offer Acceptance and Withdrawal will be informed at the time of Admission Offer.
  • Any dispute concerning Admissions for the BBA (Hons.) 2026-30 batch would be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts within the territorial jurisdiction of the city of Jammu only.

# Foreign candidates are the foreign citizens who hold a valid passport of a foreign country. This policy is valid only for non-hostile nations to India.

NB: Non-Indian students may sit/appear for the on-campus placement process for the organization(s) that explicitly want to recruit foreign candidates.
