Overview
In the recent times, qualitative research has been gaining importance for its unique role to find out solutions to complex business problems. It starts with collection of non-numerical data such as, text, image, and audio, and analysis to understand opinions, or experiences for a larger population. Qualitative tools can be used to derive in-depth insights into a problem or generate new ideas and/or knowledge as solutions to the complex problems. Qualitative analytics usually seek answers to questions about the ‘what’, ‘how’ or ‘why’ of a phenomenon, rather than questions about ‘how many’ or ‘how much’. Qualitative researchers and practitioners put more emphasis on generating and developing descriptions and explanations than upon testing pre-existing hypotheses. This 3 days MDP will enhance the decision-making skills of researchers and professionals using NVivo and R software.
