Assessment of the Year of Millets 2023 Initiative: A study of select areas of North-west India
Applications are invited from eligible candidates (Indian nationals only) for the temporary post in the research project entitled, “Assessment of the Year of Millets 2023 Initiative: Promoting Sustainable Agriculture and Nutrition through Millet Promotion : A study of select areas of North-west India” sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi.

Eligibility
- Research Assistant - Qualification: Ph.D./M.Phil./Post graduate in any social science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks. Prior research experience is preferred but not required.
- Field Investigator - Qualification: Post Graduate in any social science discipline with minimum 55% marks (Desired candidates from North-west India).
Remuneration and Emoluments*
- Research Assistant – Rs. 32,000/- per month
- Field Investigator – Rs. 30,000/- per month
- *No other benefits will be provided.
Tenure
- Research Assistant: 03 months term (likely to be extended for another one month)
- Field Investigator: 03 months term (no further extension)
Responsibilities
- Research Associate/Research Assistant:
- Conduct literature reviews, design research studies, & collect data
- Analyze data
- Prepare data visualizations & research reports/publications, etc.
- Field Investigator:
- Conduct literature reviews and collect data
- Tabulate and enter data in the relevant software.
Instructions

3. The appointment is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
