Prakrit Silal is an Assistant Professor of IT Systems & Analytics at Indian Institute of Management Jammu. He completed his Ph.D. from IIM Calcutta in 2022. Prior to his doctoral studies, he completed his PGP (PGDCM) from IIM Calcutta and B.Tech (Mining Engineering) from IIT Kharagpur. His research interests include Digital Government, E-Participation, social media, and ICT4D. Some of his recent works have been published/forthcoming in journals such as Government Information Quarterly, Health Marketing Quarterly, Journal of Global Information Technology Management, Marketing Intelligence and Planning, and International Journal of Technology Diffusion. Additionally, he also possesses two years of industry experience.
