1. Medical Officers – 01 (Female) (Contract)

Qualification:

a) MBBS degree from a recognised University recognized by the Medical Council of India.

b) Valid Registration with Medical Council of India is required.

c) Candidate with higher qualifications will be given preference.

Experience: Minimum of 05 years of professional experience of having worked in a Hospital/ Health Institutions/Educational Institutions.

Upper Age Limit: 65 years/Retired Doctors/ Retired Medical Officers may apply.

Consolidated emoluments :Rs.75,000 (all inclusive) per month depending upon qualification and experience. The contract basis initially for a period of 1 year, extendable up to a further three years, subject to satisfactory performance & requirement of the Institute.

2. Teaching Assistants – 6 Posts (Contract)

Job Profile: Assisting faculty in activities related to course design and delivery of the Institute’s programs, Correction/grading of exams, quizzes, projects, assignments as instructed by the teaching faculty, setting up necessary teaching aids as instructed and tracking progress in-class projects, assignments.

Qualification: Master’s degree preferably in Management with minimum 60% marks or its equivalent grade and consistently good academic record. Proficient in MS Office is must.

Experience:Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience. Research experience in institute of repute and universities will be preferred.

Upper Age Limit: 35 years.

Consolidated emoluments :Rs.30,000 - 40,000 per month depending upon qualification and experience. The Contract period will be for one year only.

3. Library Trainees - 04 Posts (Contract)

Job Profile: : To assist the Librarian in offering the library services to the faculty and the students and documentation of library activities.

Qualification: Master’s degree in library and Information Science with minimum 60% marks or its equivalent grade and consistently good academic record.

Experience:0-2 years of relevant work experience. Experience in institute of repute and universities will be preferred. Those who have experience of more than 2 years need not to apply.

Upper Age Limit: 30 years.

Consolidated emoluments :Rs.25,000 - 30,000 depending upon qualification and experience. The contract will be for a period of one year only.

4. Management Trainees - 02 posts (Contract)

Job Profile:To assist the various Department/ Activity Heads of the Institute.

Qualification: Master’s degree preferably in Management with minimum 60% marks or its equivalent grade and consistently good academic record. Proficient in MS Office is must.

Experience:: 0-2 years of relevant work experience. Experience in institute of repute and universities will be preferred.

Upper Age Limit: 30 years.

5. IT & Systems Trainees - 03 Posts (Contract)

Job Profile:To assist System Manager in IT related work/activity of the Institute.

Qualification: B.E./ B. Tech in Computer Science/ Information Technology or MCA with minimum 60% marks or its equivalent grade and consistently good academic record.

Experience:: 0-2 years of relevant work experience. Experience in institute of repute and universities will be preferred.

Upper Age Limit: 30 years.

Consolidated emoluments : Rs.25,000 - 30,000 per month depending upon qualification and experience. The contract will be for a period of one year only.

6. Accounts Trainees – 02 Posts (Contract)

Job Profile:Should have basic knowledge of accounting such as maintenance of accounts, processing of bills and budgeting etc. The candidate should be proficient in accounting management software such as Tally.

Qualification: Master’s Degree in Commerce / MBA (Finance) (10+2+3+2) with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade and consistently good academic record. Proficient in MS Office is must.

Experience:0-2 years of relevant work experience. Experience in institute of repute and universities will be preferred.

Upper Age Limit: 30 years.

Consolidated emoluments : Rs.25,000-30,000 depending upon qualification and experience. The contract will be for a period of one year only.

7. Gym Trainer (Part time) – 02 Posts (Contract)

Qualification:a) Any Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma in Physical Education with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University /Institute.

b) Having certificate of qualified gym instructor and weight training background.

c) Represented in University/Institute, National or State level in the respective sports.

Experience:Minimum 03 years’ experience in any Gymnasium / Institute / University.

Upper Age Limit: 35 years.

Consolidated emoluments : Rs.20,000 per month depending upon qualification and experience. No other allowance or benefit will be admissible.

Visiting Timing is seven hours (3 hrs in Morning and 4 hrs in evening) for six days a week. The visiting hours may be increased, if required.

General Conditions:

  • The selected candidates are liable to be posted at any Campus/Office of IIM Jammu as per the requirement of the Institute.
  • No correspondence/queries will be entertained from candidates regarding e-mail delays, conduct and result of interview/ written/ skills test and reasons for not being called for interview/ written/ skills test.
  • In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection which may be detected at any stage even after the issue of appointment letter, the Institute reserves the right to modify/withdraw/cancel any communication including appointment offer made to the candidate.
  • In case of any dispute/ambiguity that may occur in the process of selection, the decision of Institute shall be final and binding. Any court case will be at Jammu Jurisdiction only.

Mode of Selection:

The selection will be made based on marks obtained in the Interview only for S.No. 1, 2 & 7 and Written Test followed by Interview for the posts from S.No. 3 to 6.
