About DICCI

The Pune-based Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DICCI) was established in 2005 by Dr. Milind Kamble, a civil engineer and entrepreneur. As chairman of DICCI, he has steered and expanded the organization over the years and today the chamber presides over a network of 29 state chapters and seven international chapters.

Its membership base is rapidly expanding as more Dalit entrepreneurs become aware of its activities and what it can offer them. A special drive has been organized to step- up membership of Scheduled Tribes too with a focus on the north east and other clusters across the country.

DICCI, with a view to expand its reach further, is in the process of entering into partnerships with high impact global organizations. DICCI has signed an MoU with the National Black Chamber of Commerce (NBCC.) A delegation from NBCC visited New Delhi in the last week of March 2023 for the purpose.

The activities of DICCI members are quite diversified ranging from manufacturing - chemicals, agri-products, frozen foods, plastics, textiles, pest control, metals and metallurgy, marine engineering, solar energy, sugar refining, construction - to services including health care, hospitality, EdTech and international trade.
