About HR Conference

The International Human Resource Conference (IHRC) 2027, hosted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu on February 18th–19th, 2027, addresses one of the most defining imperatives of modern management under the overarching theme of "HR, AI, and the Future of Work." As artificial intelligence and digital automation rapidly reshape global industries, this premier international platform convenes scholars, corporate leaders, and policymakers to examine the transformative intersection of human capital and emerging technologies. The conference provides a critical academic forum to explore how AI-enabled HR, digital transformation, hybrid work, talent management, leadership, employee well-being, diversity and inclusion, and ethical AI governance shape the future of work.

Deliberations at IHRC 2027 are structured across nine comprehensive sub-theme tracks designed to address both the transformative potential and complex challenges of the digital era. The conference fosters interdisciplinary dialogue on Human–AI synergy across HR functions, organizational change management, psychological readiness, and work redesign for Industry 5.0. It examines the changing dynamics of gig work, digital labor, and hybrid workplace culture, while exploring emerging talent management trends such as reskilling, lifelong learning, and capability building within Global Capability Centres (GCCs). Additionally, scholars will examine personality, motivation, and evolving work psychology alongside evidence-based interventions for employee well-being, burnout, technostress, and digital fatigue.

To build sustainable and adaptive organizations, the conference highlights evolving models of authentic and strategic leadership, dynamic practices in diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging (DEIB), Sustainable HRM, and ESG frameworks. Crucially, IHRC 2027 encourages critical conversations on the disruptive dimensions of HR, including algorithmic surveillance, quiet workplace behaviors, and the dark side of leadership in AI-driven environments. By synthesizing cutting-edge empirical research, evidence-based insights, and practitioner perspectives, the conference aims to bridge academic theory and organizational practice, generating peer-reviewed scholarship, actionable leadership toolkits, and sustainable frameworks for human capital management in an increasingly intelligent workplace.
