Mythiri B

Qualification
Assistant Professor, Business Communication

Dr. Mythiri B. is an Assistant Professor of Business Communication. She holds a Ph.D. in English Language Education from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, where her doctoral research examined the integration of Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) into tertiary-level English classrooms as a means to foster inclusivity within educational spaces. She is also qualified in the UGC-National Eligibility Test (NET) in English.

Her academic and professional interests lie at the intersection of communication, language education, and pedagogy. She explores how communication functions as a skill that shapes outcomes in both academic and organizational contexts - one that, when taught well, builds confidence, awareness, and adaptability in equal measure. She is deeply committed to helping students develop linguistic competence alongside the emotional intelligence needed to succeed in a diverse, technology-driven world.

She has presented her work at reputed national and international conferences, conducted master classes, and published in Scopus-indexed and ABDC-listed journals. Her publications reflect a sustained focus on student well-being and inclusive education -areas she approaches with both scholarly rigour and personal investment. In the classroom, her pedagogy is grounded in critical thinking, sustainability, and learner-centred practice, fostering collaborative environments where every student has the opportunity to grow.

At the heart of her work is a belief that education should produce skilled graduates who are equally reflective and empathetic individuals genuinely prepared to engage with the world around them.
