Ritu Rana

Ritu Rana has been awarded the Post Doctoral Fellowship 2021-22 by Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi, Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. She is currently working as ICSSR Post Doctoral Fellow in Economics & Business Environment Area at Indian Institute of Management Jammu (IIM Jammu), Jammu and Kashmir. She has a unique blend of experience in Academia, Administration and Industry. She was awarded the 100% ICSSR Travel Grant for Attending Seminar/ Conference Abroad by the ICSSR, New Delhi, Ministry of Education, Govt. of India for presenting a paper in an international conference technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Power Electronics Society held in Bern, Switzerland. She has an interdisciplinary approach in research and has published her research work in refereed national and international journals, conferences and books. Her research interests include, but are not limited to, the area of Macroeconomics, International Trade/ Business, Environmental Economics, Sustainable Development and Entrepreneurship. She has taken up several teaching assignments at Central University of Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir. Her interest in teaching is in the area of Finance, Economics and International Business. She has also served as a Member in various committees at National Institute of Technology Hamirpur (NIT Hamirpur), H.P. while pursuing her Doctoral degree there. She has taken up various coordination assignments at Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India. She has attended the ISRO Academia Day 2018 held at Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), Dehradun organised by Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). She has also worked with some internationally renowned business organisations (like IBM, Convergys and Reliance) in various capacities for several years where she was recognised for her performances.
