Dr. Manu Bansal is an Agricultural Economist with a major research area as development economics off-shooting into agricultural economics, commodity markets, and intellectual property rights. He has expertise in econometric modeling and panel data analysis. He is well versed with statistical tools like R, STATA, and QGIS. He has ongoing research on varied topics like the impact of covid-19 on economic uncertainty in India, study on quality issues in agricultural commodity markets, and impact of rural roads on formal employment.

He is PhD in Economics and Social Science from IIM Bangalore. He received Mirae Assets Scholar Award 2019 for world-class impact-creating research.

He has worked as Project Associate at IIM Bangalore. Before PhD, he worked with NCDEX e-Markets Ltd. And SRIJAN NGO for 2 years. He has also done PGDM (Rural Management) from Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar.
