1. Consultant (Accounts & Compliance) – 01 Post

Job Profile:

  • Compliance with Government regulations, GFR and Institute’s norms.
  • Establishment of sound accounting, auditing and other financial management practices in maintaining Public Funds.
  • Pre-Audit of HR related matters, Tenders, Purchase Orders and employees claims, all payments etc.
  • Design & Implement accounting & audit control systems, Preparation of Manuals.
  • Provide opinion on matters referred, especially about their viability and acceptability keeping in view the precedents, norms and applicable rules.
  • Oversee Institute’s management activities, and enforce principles of integrity and compliance

 

Qualification:
Candidates must be Commerce/Economics graduate with 55% marks. Preference will be given to the candidates having post-graduation degree in Commerce/Economics and having knowledge of MS Office.

Experience:
Minimum 15 years of experience in accounts/audit department of a Central Govt. organizations. Retired officers of Indian Accounts and Audit Department preferably from commercial background and other Government of India, Autonomous bodies holding post of Sr. Audit Officers / Accounts Officers with experience of handling the finance, Internal audit and administrative matters in organized audit & accounts department. Candidate must have sound knowledge of Government regulations in procurement of Goods &Service-related matters, GFR 2017 and HR related matters. Experience at IIMs/IITs or CFITs or Autonomous Institutions under GOI in accounts department will be preferred.

Upper age limit: 65 years.

Consolidated emoluments:
Consolidated salary in the range of Rs. 45,000/- to 55,000/- per month. (Telephone & Conveyance as applicable).

2. Gym Trainer (Part time) – 02 Posts

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university /Institute.

Experience: Minimum 02 years’ experience in Physical education/Gym Trainer.

Consolidated emoluments: Rs.15000-20,000 per month depending upon qualification and experience. No other allowance or benefit will be admissible.
Visiting Timing is four hours (2 hours in Morning and 2 hours in evening) every day. The visiting hours may be increased, if required.

Mode of Selection:

Based on fulfilling qualification requirements and written exam/ personal interview at Indian Institute of Management Jammu.

General Conditions:

  1. Selected candidates will be initially appointed on contract basis for a period of 11 months/ one yearon consolidated emoluments. The contract may be extended depending on performance of the incumbent and need of the Institute.
  2. Cut-off date for determining the age may be kept as the first day of the month on which the advertisement for the positions is published in the Newspapers / Institute website.
  3. All Certificates, Degrees, and other documents for educational qualification, professional qualification, work experience and age proof etc. should be produced in original at the time of written exam/ interview. Failure to produce these original documents may result into ineligibility to appear for the selection process/ interview.
  4. Candidates already in government service should produce a No Objection Certificate from the present employer at the time of selection process/ interview, if called for the same.
  5. Mere fulfilling the eligibility criteria does not guarantee that the applicant will be shortlisted.
  6. Only short-listed candidates will be contacted.
  7. No correspondence/queries will be entertained from candidates regarding e-mail delays, conduct and reasons for not being considered for the selection process/ interview.
  8. No TA/DA or any other incidental expenses will be reimbursed for attending the selection process/ interview.
  9. Candidate, if selected, will have to manage his/her own accommodation arrangements.
  10. IIM Jammu reserves the right to recruit additional trainees as per its requirement.
  11. IIM Jammu reserves the right not to fill all or any of the post, for whatsoever any reasons.
